Sant Roc Gaietà

This weekend we celebrated the birthday of Jenn at a campsite in Roda de Barà. So Saturday afternoon took the opportunity to approach the Roc de Sant Gaietà, although the weather was not much. The Roc is a picturesque development that was built between 1964 and 1972, sponsored by Bori Gaietà carved and which took its name, as initially called Fisherman's Village. It is an amazing maze with many courtyards and alleys where they are mixed buildings that represent different characteristic styles of English Mediterranean architecture. He is joined in buildings that mimic Gothic buildings, Romanesque, fishermen's houses or courtyards to Ibiza Andalusian-Moorish style. There are also many old farmhouses recovered items, constituting all together like a flower of the English Village. In an outdoor plaza is a sculpture of Luis del Olmo, adopted son of Roda and living in the place, strange to dedicate a statue to someone alive.
